JBRS Rapid Barracudas Important Dates
After-School Practices:- May 10 - 25, Monday to Friday (no practice last day of school, 5/26)
- 4:30 - 5:15 ages 7 to 10; 5:15 – 5:45pm ages 6 and under’
- 5:45 - 6:40 ages 11 and up.
- May 27 through July 6 (qualifying County swimmers swim until July 16)
- Monday - Thursday Practices to be held in the mornings
- ages 7-10 9:00-10:00
- ages 6 & under 10:00-10:30
- and 11 & up 10:15-11:30.
All ages 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Monday to Wednesday (not meet days or Fridays.)
Fun Fridays: (& one Wacky Wednesday): 10 - 11am Mornings after regular swim meets. There will be ribbons, donuts, prizes, and time for playing in the pool.
Pictures: Evening of Mock Meet for Team photo and Individuals.
Mock Meet/Time Trials: This will run as a regular meet to determine times following GCSL procedures. Volunteers are necessary to make it run smoothly as a practice run for the season. Concessions will be offered.
- Mock Meet: Thursday, May 27
- Meet 1: Thursday, June 3 Home vs Spalding Corner
- Meet 2: Thursday, June 10 Home vs. Peachtree Corners
- Meet 3: Thursday, June 17 Away @ Field
- Meet 4: Thursday, June 24 Away @ Peachtree Station
- Meet 5: Thursday, July 1 Home vs. Berkeley Hills
- Meet 6: Tuesday, July 6 Away @ Spalding Corners
- County Meet: July 17 and 18 at the Georgia Tech Aquatic Center for qualifying swimmers. Session times TBD.
- Banquet: Saturday, August 7 Time and place TBD.
